This is one of the most popular music festivals to grace Indian lands, so make sure you don’t miss this. After all, listening to your favourite bands amidst the sultry dunes of Khuri is a different high altogether.

Think motorcycle stunts, races and tons of music. That’s what India’s largest motorcycle carnival brings to the table – with beer galore. Some highlights of the event include the Biker Build Off, the National Stunt Championships and the Hard Enduro competition. You can also check out the vintage bike display on show, or dance till you drop to the music concerts that keep the decibels high.

4. Taj Mahotsav

A tribute to the arts, crafts and culture of the Mughal era, the Taj Mahotsav starts off on a spectacular note with processions of elephants, drummers and camels – reminiscent of the Mughal empire at its zenith. This year’s theme is Hum Ek, Sanskriti Anek, where over 400 artisans across the country will get an opportunity to showcase their talents. The venue is also evocative of Mughal times, since it is located at the place where the artisans and builders who constructed the Taj Mahal once lived. With the stunning Taj Mahal as a backdrop for this fifteen-day event, there’s not much more you could ask for in terms of grandeur.

Where: Agra, Uttar Pradesh
When: 18th – 27th February 2016
